The Wall Opensky Ventilator is fully tested and certified to BS EN 12101-2:2003, ensuring reliable performance in smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV) applications. It also doubles as a natural ventilator, making it ideal for dual-purpose use in stairwells, corridors, and façade openings where both comfort ventilation and life safety are essential.
Choose from a range of blade types to suit your project’s thermal or daylighting priorities: single-skin aluminium for economic ventilation, 25 mm insulated blades for low U-values down to 0.66 W/m²·K, or translucent polycarbonate blades for natural light transmission. This versatility makes the Wall Opensky ideal for both heated spaces and naturally lit stair cores.
Available in widths from 530 mm to 2030 mm and heights from 900 mm to 3500 mm, the ventilator can be tailored to meet Approved Document B free-area requirements, including the 1.0 m² and 1.5 m² AOV standards. A wide choice of RAL or BS colours ensures seamless integration with your façade or glazing system.
The Wall Opensky is compatible with a wide range of actuation methods including 24 V DC, 230 V AC, pneumatic systems, or thermal release mechanisms, depending on the application and compliance strategy. Manual and electric override controls are also available for added safety and control flexibility.
