Here are some of the comments from our latest apprentices

“I wanted to get involved in engineering due to my love for both physics and maths. Engineering seemed very interesting as I could help make an impact on modern day problems without sitting behind a desk all day.”

Josh Roberts, completing a Design BTEC as Yeovil College

“I wanted to get into engineering because there is such a wide range of opportunities to develop all kinds of knowledge and skills. I have always had a keen interest in making things, figuring out how things work and fixing things. It is my hope that engineering will provide me with the chance to do what I enjoy and be part of a creative industry.”

Ben Dyke, completing a Design BTEC as Yeovil College

“I wanted to get into engineering from a young age, I have always enjoyed taking things apart, seeing how they work, how they were made and then fixing them. I also enjoy the programming for CNC machines and the accuracy they provide to the workplace. Engineering taps into all my interests so this has been a path I’ve always wanted to take.”

Oakley Bisset, completing a Technical Support Technician BTEC as Yeovil College
