As Powrmatic’s apprenticeship programme goes from strength to strength, another accolade has been added to the impressive awards received by the company’s apprentices.
In the most recent achievement Michael Rose, aged 21, was Highly Commended in the ‘Outstanding Achievement by a Final Year Apprentice’ category of the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards. These highly respected awards recognise manufacturing success at both regional and national levels.

This latest award sits alongside Michael’s Runner-Up Award at the ICOM Apprentice of the Year Award in 2014. Michael has now finished his apprenticeship and is working as a trainee draughtsman in Powrmatic’s drawing office. Other Powrmatic apprentices who have received awards and recognition include Tom Case, who was the ICOM Energy Associations Apprentice of the Year in 2015.
Powrmatic will be recruiting a further two apprentices in the summer of 2016 to support the company’s continued expansion and its ongoing commitment to training and supporting best practice within the industry. Keep an eye on our careers section for the announcement of the 2016 program.
