Distribution centre heating energy efficient 46,800m³ ILG facility

Powrmatic was selected to supply a large distribution centre with an energy-saving air rotation heating system for ILG’s 46,800m³ distribution facility in Gatwick working in partnership with Air Ability who supplied and installed just a single Powrmatic TEx41 air rotation heater.

The distribution centre heating was provided as ILG selected the Powrmatic Air Rotation Heater for its impressive energy-saving benefits which aligns with ILG’s mission to make operations more sustainable and environment-friendly.

The Powrmatic TEx range of gas and oil-fired air rotation heaters are specifically designed for the efficient heating of large areas and are especially suitable for open plan warehousing and manufacturing facilities. Our air rotation units utilise high-efficiency axial fans to move large volumes of air. These heaters achieve uniformity in the distribution of heated air that cannot be matched by conventional units that treat low volumes of air at high temperature.

Fuel and electricity use are minimised by specifying large air rotation heater technology. High efficiency burners linked to drum and tube heat exchangers and low energy main axial fans are carefully controlled to provide heat destratification ensuring building occupier satisfaction.
