Powrmatic’s all-new VPx range of power-vented gas cabinet heaters features a more compact, robust design and easily meets the latest requirements for NOx emissions and seasonal efficiencies.
The VPx represents a significant upgrade on the company’s successful VPC range, retaining many of the features popular with installers whilst delivering significant performance improvements. It also extends the range of cabinet heaters in Powrmatic’s portfolio, with six models offering high-fire capacities from 34kW to 137kW (low-fire 23.8-93.3kW). All models are fitted with natural gas high/low burners as standard and utilise a proven four-pass tubular heat exchanger with LPG as a option.
VPx models are more compact than their predecessors, providing greater flexibility in the choice of location and application. Depending on the application and heater location, the VPx can be specified with horizontal low-level flue discharge to minimise costly roof penetrations. A vertical flue option can also be specified.
For even greater flexibility, VPx cabinet heaters are available as free-blowing or ducted configurations, with the options of upgraded external static pressures.
The VPx range has been designed with installers and service engineers in mind, with a hinged electrical panel for easy access to the burner compartment for routine service and maintenance. On-site wiring connections have also been optimised to speed up installation.
All of the VPx models are factory-fitted with Powrmatic’s MC200 digital controllers, which provides optimised start/stop, programmable time and temperature setting options and password protection functionality.
In line with Powrmatics worldwide branding refocus and UK customer feedback the new VPx will be supplied painted ‘stealth’ grey RAL 7015.
