Wynnstay Pet Retail Store Heating

Project Background

Wynnstay operates 41 country stores and 20 specialist pet stores. The new Wynnstay store in Shropshire. which sells agricultural supplies, including pet & equine products required a retail store heating solution.

Project Solution

A warm air Powrmatic NVx suspended gas unit heater, supplemented by two HCF destratification fans were selected. The 60kW NVx heater and the destratification fans were installed in the approximately 875m² retail area by contractor Lindon Heating. This was the latest in a number of Powrmatic installations in Wynnstay stores.

Project Result

Wynnstay’s Paul Godwin explained: “We have been using Powrmatic products for around four years as they are able to provide a cost-effective and efficient heating system that helps us to reduce our energy consumption without compromising on comfort conditions. They are also able to meet the varied requirements of our stores, many of which do not have mains gas and so need to use oil fired heaters from Powrmatic’s OUH range.”

All of the Powrmatic products supplied to Wynnstay stores are manufactured at Powrmatic’s facility in Ilminster, Somerset
