Warehouse & Distribution Centre Heating Solution

In partnership with our French distribution partners at Exeltec, Powrmatic was selected to supply a transport workshop heating solution for a 1,200m² building in Paris, France. Exeltec designed and installed the system using two external Powrmatic CX200HD/ EA units.

Project Background

Exeltec is the choice of a specialist in comfort solutions for large-volume industrial and tertiary buildings in France. Exeltec specializes in industrial heating equipment and has chosen partners among the most reputable in Europe for the manufacture of their products, with whom we have maintained close and extensive relations in all areas for many years. A transport workshop required an energy-efficient heating solution, and Exeltec selected the Powrmatic CA external units to provide heating for the working staff.

Project Solution

Exeltec selected and installed 2 x CX200HD/ EA, which ran in parallel externally. The horizontal external weatherproof cabinet heaters. The ErP 2021 heaters take in fresh air through a filter system, and then the warm air is brought together into a single duct using an insulated manifold outside the building. The warm air is fed into a duct which inflates inside the building. The textile duct is manufactured with perforations and the warm air permeates into the building.

Project Result

The transport workshop building now benefits from an efficient heating system. The external weatherproof options allow for space saving inside the building. Where the recirculated

supply air is contaminated, or there is a fresh air requirement, as is often the case in garages and heavy industrial workshops, these types of heaters can be installed outside and ducted into the area to be served.
