Bodyshop heating solution
Powrmatic was selected to supply a bodyshop heating solution which would not only be comfortable for staff but help dry their work.
A Powrmatic OUH suspended oil-fired warm air heater is providing ideal conditions for both comfort and repair drying times at EW Pinchbeck & Sons’ body shop and MOT bay in Middle Wallop, Hampshire.
The body shop heating OUH heater is set to maintain a temperature of 16.5°C in the 775m2 space and is suspended from the roof on drop rods, with a horizontal flue. Control of body shop heating is via a Powrmatic MC200 intelligent controller with optimum start technology, combining optimum energy performance with the flexibility to set a variety of times and temperatures. Fan-only operation is also available for cooling and ventilation during the summer months.
Powrmatic OUH oil unit heaters feature stainless steel heat exchangers as standard and a downwards-firing Riello pressure jet oil burner for use with 28 sec or 35 sec oil. They can be supplied with an axial fan for blowing directly into the space, or a centrifugal fan for ducted applications. They are therefore ideal for a range of body shop heating projects.
