Manufacturing Facility Heating Solution
Powrmatic delivered a complete heating and ventilation solution for JJ Harrison’s PVC Products Limited in Leigh, upgrading the facility to improve comfort and air movement. Installed by long-standing partner Swiftheat, the project combined warm air heating and destratification to create a more efficient and productive working environment within the manufacturing space.
JJ Harrison’s PVC Products operates from a 15,000 sq ft manufacturing facility that previously had no installed heating system, creating challenging working conditions, particularly during colder months. With no access to mains gas, an alternative fuel source was required, leading to the recommendation of an LPG tank. In addition to heating, improved air circulation was needed to manage temperature consistency throughout the large open space.
Powrmatic designed and supplied a tailored system using two LPG-fired LX 60 suspended warm air units, providing efficient and reliable heating suited to the demands of the facility. To complement this, three CEC 2250 destratification fans were installed to improve air circulation by redistributing warm air at high level back down to the working area. The system was expertly installed by Swiftheat, ensuring optimal performance and long-term reliability.
The new system has transformed the internal environment, delivering consistent and efficient heating across the full 15,000 sq ft space while significantly improving air circulation. By combining warm air heating with destratification, the facility now benefits from better temperature control, improved comfort for staff, and increased overall efficiency, creating a more productive and reliable working environment.
