Project Background

McGrath Maserati is an independent Maserati specialist that services and restores all types of Maserati car, as well as supplying parts to customers all over the world. The company has recently refurbished a former workshop to create a suitable space to showcase its expertise with examples of refurbished vehicles. Powrmatic were selected to supply a heating solution for car Maserati showroom.

Project Solution

Powrmatic heating has supplied an NVx suspended warm air heater to the new showroom at McGrath Maserati in Kimpton, Hertfordshire. Powrmatic was specified and installed by Leicester-based Air Plants Heating (APH).

The Powrmatic heating in the showroom is controlled by a Powrmatic MC200 digital controller, that has been specifically designed for use with individual heaters, providing flexibility of time and temperature control, as well as weather compensation for optimised start/stop.

Project Result

“We have been maintaining the heating at the site for around 30 years so they asked us to propose a heating solution for the new showroom,” recalled APH’s Mick Etherington. “Having considered a number of options it was clear that the Powrmatic NVx was the best choice in terms of performance, energy efficiency and reliability,” he continued.

In using the combination of Powrmatic NVx and MC200, McGrath Maserati has ensured that visitors are comfortable when browsing the exhibits in the showroom, while also optimising energy performance and minimising running costs.
