Industrial Unit Heating Solution
Powrmatic partnered with long-term installation specialist Tidyco to deliver an efficient and reliable heating solution for a large industrial unit at Bemrose Park. By combining proven radiant heating technology with expert installation, the project successfully transformed a previously unheated space into a comfortable and energy-efficient working environment.
The project involved Unit 3 at Bemrose Park, a 1,600 square metre industrial space that required a complete heating solution as the building was previously unheated. A key challenge was the gas supply, located approximately 40 metres away within the main building. To address this, a 100mm stainless steel press-fit gas line was installed to a dedicated sub-meter. In addition to the heating works, Tidyco carried out a full electrical installation, including upgrading all high bay lighting to energy-efficient LED fittings.
Tidyco installed five 40kW Powrmatic PVL Push Linear Radiant heaters from SRP, configured across three zones and controlled via MC200 controllers for efficient temperature management. The Powrmatic PVL Push Linear Radiant heaters from SRP were selected for their ability to deliver direct, efficient heat in large open spaces, making them ideally suited to the building’s requirements.
The installation of the Powrmatic PVL Push Linear Radiant heaters from SRP from Tidyco has transformed the unit into a warm and comfortable working environment, with efficient zoned heating ensuring energy is used effectively. Despite the initial challenges around gas supply, the project was delivered smoothly, and the end client is very satisfied with the outcome.
