Warm Air Engineering Workshop Heating Solution

Powrmatic heaters were selected to provide a warm air engineering workshop heating solution for a 1530m² building in Andover. 2 LNVx60 Warm air heaters and 14 CECx destratification fans were installed by Industrial Heaters Southern.

Project Background

Industrial Heaters (Southern) were contacted by a local engineering workshop to supply a warm air heating solution for their current building. They required an energy-efficient heater solution to provide staff with comfortable internal temperatures during the colder months.

Project Solution

2 x 60kW gas-fired Powrmatic LNVx warm air suspended heaters were installed into the building via drop rods and flued horizontally out of the building using our Supra+ single wall flue. In addition to the warm air heaters, 14 CECx destratification fans were installed to maintain even air distribution. The CECx fans work in conjunction with all warm air heaters and automatically recirculate high level hot air, reducing stratification and associated heat losses.

Project Result

The 1530m² building now benefits from an energy-efficient warm air heating solution. The CECx destratification fans are specifically designed to lower the fuel consumption of space heating systems and at the same time, improve comfort levels. Both LNVx heaters were fitted with vertical louvres which allows the airflow to be re-directed left and right, as well as up and down depending on where staff work, or directed onto colder spots in the building. The new-look stealth grey units blend in with the interior of the building and installed effectively by Industrial Heaters (Southern)
