Manufacturing Facility Heating Solution
Powrmatic was selected to supply a manufacturing facility heating system in a new 28,000SQ.FT building in Manchester which was expertly installed by our trusted and long-standing engineers at Swiftheat Gas Services Limited. Four LNVx90's heaters and five CECx6500 destrat fans were installed into the facility.
BOBST UK Manchester limited is one of the world’s leading suppliers of substrate processing, printing and converting equipment and services for the label, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated board industries. Swiftheat Gas Services Ltd has been installing and servicing Powrmatic products for many years and their long-standing customer BOBST UK Manchester Limited were expanding and adding additional premises which required heating.
Swiftheat Gas Services Ltd specified and installed the suspended LNVx Warm Air Heater which allows the heater to be kept off the floor areas where most works are provided. The obvious choice was Powrmatic suspended unit heaters as these were installed in another production area and have served them well. Swiftheat was asked to design and install a system that would give a temp rise of -4 outside to +18 inside with frost protection and also time and temperature controls.
There was no mains natural gas to the building so Swiftheat suggested LPG units. Four LNVx90 LPG suspended unit heaters and five CECx6500 De-Stratification fans provided a great combination of warm air heating and desertification.The LNVx heaters provided a compliant energy efficient heating solution for the building. The CECx is designed for higher-level mounting and will automatically recirculate high level hot air, reducing stratification and associated heat losses. CECx fans are specifically designed to lower the fuel consumption of space heating systems and at the same time, improve comfort levels.
