We would like to welcome Emily Wright to the Powrmatic Ilminster site. As of September 2019 Emily has been our new member of the ventilation team, she has taken on the role of after sales support and is settling in great.
Why did you decide to join Powrmatic?
I was ready for a new venture to gain some new knowledge and experience in an office and what better place to start that a successful local company.
Before working at Powrmatic, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I have worked at one of my favourite places … Glastonbury Festival. Giving people their wristbands as they arrive.
How do you have your cup of tea/coffee?
Tea bag before milk … Well brewed with a dash of milk.
If you could pick a new skill in an instant what would it be?
To be able to sing …. Well.
How would you describe your job to a child?
After people have chosen what shiny box they would like for their building to help keep them safe if there was a fire. I ask then what day they would like their parcel and then ask for a lorry to pick it up and take it to them as quick as they can.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
Making my new house a home and making memories with my family and friends.
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Explained’ – every days a learning day.
Choose a movie title for the story of your life so far?
‘Just go with it’.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
I have always wanted to experience a hot air balloon ride, volunteer in an African orphanage and skydive.
