Project Background

More than just a café, Mill Race Moto offers automotive enthusiasts and visitors a distinctive place to relax, socialise and enjoy impressive vehicles alongside quality food and refreshments. With customer comfort a priority, the venue required reliable retail climate control to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures throughout the seasons. The project also presented an opportunity to introduce energy efficient retail heating and reduce reliance on traditional fossil-fuel systems. Installed by Green Future Energy, the general building fit-out was completed by Bentley Building Contractors, who were also involved in Powrmatic’s Eeco-X project at Bypass Nurseries.

Project Solution

Powrmatic supplied two Eeco-X 30kW air source heat pump systems, providing a combined nominal heating capacity of 60kW. Featuring two externally mounted heat pump units, the modular system delivers efficient heating and cooling, helping maintain comfortable indoor conditions throughout the year. Expertly installed by Green Future Energy, the Eeco-X system provides a sustainable alternative to conventional gas heating. These commercial retail heating and cooling systems combine efficient heat pump technology with effective air distribution, making them ideal for retail, leisure and hospitality environments.

Project Result

The completed installation provides Mill Race Moto with reliable, year-round climate control, creating a welcoming environment for customers whether visiting on a cold winter morning or a warm summer afternoon. By adopting Powrmatic’s Eeco-X technology, the venue benefits from modern retail heating and cooling systems designed to improve comfort, energy efficiency and building performance while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
