Distribution Centre Cooling

Many many products will suffer if kept in distribution centres at high temperatures, and staff will work less efficiently, but the very large volume of air contained inside a typical warehouse takes a lot of cooling. Coolair evaporative cooling systems can achieve cooling in these large spaces at a significantly lower cost that conventional systems, while using around 80% less energy. By moving large volumes of air in a controlled manner, Coolair provides inherent destratification, leading to even temperatures throughout the distribution centre including at high level. Thus there are no “no go” areas where stock can’t be placed. Many distribution centres struggle to maintain acceptable temperatures even with air conditioning installed, because frequently opened loading doors allow the cool air to escape. This results in a significant “pull down” period while traditional systems try to recover control of the temperature. Conversely, Coolair evaporative cooling systems do not suffer in this way.
