Retail Premises

Most retail buildings and shopping centres feature large open circulation and retails spaces. Such spaces commonly require smoke control or smoke clearance ventilation and environmental/climate control ventilation, typically utilising high level ventilators.

Underground car parks are also a common feature of many shopping complexes. Under Approved Document F (Means of Ventilation) and Approved Document B (Fire Safety), ventilation systems are required to help reduce the build up of carbon monoxide and provide post fire smoke clearance.

Powrmatic’s range of stunning Glazed Ventilation products means building design does not need to be compromised to accommodate high level ventilators. In addition Powrmatic Louvred and Flapped AOV’s, Glazed Louvred AOV’s, Smoke Shaft Dampers and controls ensure that safe means of escape are maintained and regulatory requirements are met. A range of fixed louvre and weathered horizontal ventilators are also available for underground car parks ventilated by natural means.
