Office and Commercial

Most modern office and commercial buildings feature large open areas such as Atria. Such spaces commonly require smoke control or smoke clearance ventilation and environmental/climate control ventilation, typically utilising high level ventilators.

Underground car parks are also a common feature of many office and commercial buildings. Under Approved Document F (Means of Ventilation) and Approved Document B (Fire Safety), ventilation systems are required to help reduce the build up of carbon monoxide and provide post fire smoke clearance.
