This month’s staff spotlight is with our Warranty Coordinator Louise Wellman. You can find out more about Louise and she does in her important day to day role within the Warranty Department.
What’s your day to day role and how long have you been at Powrmatic?
I am the Warranty Coordinator and Health and Safety Officer, so I am responsible for arranging any warranty work or commissioning required and ensure the facility is compliant with health and safety. I have worked at Powrmatic for just under 12 months and really enjoying my time here.
What is something you would like to learn?
A would like to do a course in photography to improve my skills.

- I have 5 nieces and 3 nephews
- I am a qualified first aid instructor
- I am a qualified range conducting officer

What are 5 things you personally like?
- The Gym
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I worked for a forklift company and one of my roles was the company vehicles which taught me a lot about vehicles of all kinds but also dealing with highways and the dreaded insurance companies.
What are your hobbies outside of Powrmatic?
- Instructor in the Army Cadet Force
- Teaching first aid to youths
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Veterinary surgeon in the army.
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
A new house!

If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why?
Michelangelo – because his art works are inspiring and I would love to meet the man behind them.
